Associate Support
We are truly grateful to our associates for the vital services they’re providing to their communities. We’ve taken measures to help them stay safe and healthy. We ask any associate who feels unwell to stay home, and we set a new policy to support any associate who may be affected by the virus, including paid leave for associates who needs to self-quarantine. Other steps include taking the temperatures of associates as they report to work and requiring that associates wear face coverings at work .

Sanitation & Social Distancing
Directed by Nicholas Brooks. With Natalie Knepp, Sean Kleier, Morgan Fairchild, Stacy Keach. An alpha New York City male is magically transformed into a beautiful girl, falls in love, and learns what it means to be a woman. SAM is the center for world-class visual arts in the Pacific Northwest. Visit us at our three locations: Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Asian Art Museum, Olympic Sculpture Park.
In addition to requiring face coverings, we’ve taken extra steps to support social distancing in clubs by providing visual markers to support the 6-foot guidance. We’re making shopping cart cleaning more efficient to provide sanitized carts faster for members.
Quantity Limits
We continue to work around the clock to restock many of the key items we know your families need right now. We are currently limiting some products to one item per member to ensure that more of our members have access to the products they need.

For contact-free shopping in your club, we encourage you to use our exclusive Scan & Go™ feature in the Sam’s Club app. Simply scan your items with your phone, pay in the app and skip the checkout line.

Sam the Olympic Eagle was the mascot of the 1984 Summer Olympics which were held in Los Angeles. He is a bald eagle, which is the national bird of the United States, where the games were held. Intended as a patriotic symbol, being named Sam also suggests a kinship with Uncle Sam, another American symbol. The mascot was designed by Bob Moore, an artist for Disney.
Guests of Disneyland, as well as those reading documentation about mascot designs for the Olympics, often confuse the mascot for another Disney mascot named Eagle Sam, host of the former Disneyland attraction America Sings, and designed by animator Marc Davis in c. 1973. He shares the name of Sam the Eagle from The Muppet Show, but the design is vastly different. He is still known as Eagle Sam in Japan, where an animated series of the same name ran during 1983, the year preceding the Summer Olympics. Even after the conclusion of the Games, Sam the Eagle is still used to promote a track and field event, the Mt. SAC Relays at Mt. San Antonio College, specifically its 'LA84 Youth Days' promotion for youth interested in athletics, run by a charitable group founded during the Olympics.
